Bhimashankar is a Mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience in the CAD/CAM industry, specializing in optimizing manufacturing processes and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Currently, he focuses on evaluating the feasibility of new RFQs and developing detailed packages for vendor distribution. His expertise includes creating precise 2D drawings and 3D models, managing comprehensive PPAP documentation, and effectively addressing manufacturing-related queries. He also works collaboratively with the team to resolve TFR-related challenges.
As a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, he has a deep understanding of the 5 QC tools and a proven track record in driving APQP processes. His technical skills encompass advanced 2-axis, 3-axis, 5-axis and 7-axis CAM programming using industry-leading software such as NXCAM, Solid CAM, and CAM Works. He is also proficient in operating Turning Centers, VMCs, and Turn Mill Centers, with specialized knowledge in probing systems. Additionally, He is well-versed in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, and Fusion 360.
Beyond his professional pursuits, he is passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement. In his free time, he enjoys weight training, trekking, exploring new technologies, and engaging in strategic games like chess and carrom.
